Hello listeners and readers! We’re taking this week off because: it’s a half day of school (why?), many of us are traveling today (pray for them), and I think in general we all want a reason to just be a little checked out. Also, most of our team has one member of the family fighting some new or vintage virus, so like always, it’s going to be a HECK of a looooooong weekend.
We have new episodes coming your way with Jordan Carlos, Desi Lydic, Emily Oster, and many more, but for this week we bring you one of our favorites with writer, actor, and comedian Rachel Bloom. Rachel’s new show Death, Let Me Do My Show opens in New York on December 7th! As a bonus, I caught up with her last week to see how things are going - last time we talked she had to cancel a bunch of live shows because she and her child got the dreaded HAND FOOT and MOUTH! A gross and terrible virus but can we agree - an evocative moniker. We don’t name like we used to.
Enjoy that episode HERE.
Have a great Thanksgiving or whatever you celebrate. We are doing….nothing. First time ever. We’re thinking of buying a Porterhouse Steak. Does that strike you as delightful or kinda sad? Let me know. We’ll come over.
And here’s my ongoing contribution to the world of gratitude and word art decor.
